TASK 4

Describe an armed robbery of a jewellery shop from the POV of the gun being used. [Basically, imagine you are the gun]

I am a gun. People usually think of me as threat. I wonder why. I guess it is because of a bullet inside my mouth. This make people think of me as a dangerous weapon on earth. It is so difficult to make them see that i am not a threat.

I was by many people, such as the army, police, and sometimes for self-defence. They used me to kill or injured the target. For my POV, this is cruel. I can accept to a people who used me to kill their target with a reason. The reason is that the target kill a person parents or their beloved.

But there was a time where i was used for a robbery at the jewellery shop. There are many people in the jewellery shop. Their faces was very scared, and some a cryings. I tried not to do this but still, i've been control by the robbery. I had no choose but to follow his commands.

At last, the jewellery was all gone, and some people were kill by me. But the good part was that the police came on time a caught the robbery.

Confessions of a smoker

I was sitting around my friends, talking and laughing at the coffee-shop. My friends all were a smoker expect me. I was there alone, sitting there, watching them smoke. I felt odd that i was the only one there who were not smoking. My friends convinced me to try one stick. I said no to my friends.

After they convinced me to a few times, i suddenly said yes. I am now still wondering how could i said yes to that. Anyway, i tried one stick of cigarette. When i first tried it, i got choke and started to cough. My friends said that it was normal, and i would get it right next time. I tried one more time and i get it right. It felt cool if you got it right. From there on, I started to smoke with my friends. Every time my friends ask to hang out, i ask them to brought their cigarette.

I started to be addicted to smoking. I spend all my money on cigarette. I smoke at home without my father knowing. I also smoke at the school. I with my friends all smoke at the school. I started to be lazy, rude and had a problem breathing.

Then one day, I get caught by a police. I been fined a $500 a box. I have two box so i must paid $1000. That time i was a student, so i have no money. My parents know about this. They were very angry with for smoking and make them paid a thousand dollar. I was scolded badly and i had to pay my parents slowly.

I realise my mistake, and i learn from it. Today, i become an anti-smoker, and started a new life. I still need to paid my parents slowly.

TASK 2

Sam and his family members is having a dinner after a long hard work. His family members all went to their cousins house, who live three blocks down our house, except Sam. He hate his cousins so he stay home all alone. That time, it was 11.30p.m and he was left alone in the house. Suddenly, he heard some voices along the corridor. He hearts was fill with fear. So he went to his room and sit alone on his bed.

(e) She sat heart-broken on her bed.

Ashley and his boyfriend, James, had been together seen secondary school. Now they are 25 years old and planning to be married. Ashley is very prepare for the marriage that are coming soon this Sunday. On Friday, she was walking at the park to get a fresh air. Suddenly, she saw James with other girl on the park kissing. Ashley tears started to fall. She went to home crying and sat on her bed with her heart-broken.

TASK 1

Having two working parents: What are the pros and cons of having two working parents?

I am going to discuss about the pros and cons of having two working parents. Having two working parents is somehow helpful. They work so hard to make some money for their family. Some of them is poor, and need two parents to supports their family. That is why their have two working parents.

The reason of having two working parents is that they want to support their family members. Some family is poor and need two working parents to support their family members. If they have one working parent, they will suffer. If they have two working parents, their live would be more easier. Sometime, some family have like 5 or more children, and they are poor. That is hard for the two working parents. They also need to spend their money on school fee and transportation. That will cost about a thousand dollars or more. If the child have gone to polytechnic or Junior College, it will cost even more because poly or JC already cost about a thousand dollar. That is why we need to study hard and not to disappoint our parents.

The second reason of having two working parents is that they need to make some money. This money is for the house bill. This include the electricity bill and gas bill. This could worth about a hundred thousands dollars if combine together. Like i say, they also need to spend their money on school fees and transportation. If there are one working parent, it could led to bankrupt. That is why we need two working parents.

The bad things of having two working parents is that the child would have little attention from the parents . The child would felt lonely and have no one to give him attention, so they would hang out with their friends more often. If the friends have a bad attitude, the child would follow their friends footstep and could be rude to their parents. That is why the parents need to spend more quality time with their child when they have free time, such as public holiday.

The conclusion is that the parents must work very hard to support their family members and to made some money for the house bill. They should have two working parents and not one. They also need to spends more time with their child so that their will not be rude with them.
